Existing systems: How much does it cost?

Most of the advice given to help you obtain efficient performance from your old heating system, costs nothing. Additional equipment for improving the performance of your heating system, such as regulation equipment or piping insulation, is highly recommended:

Heating regulation systems

The cost of a chronothermostat and thermostatic valves is negligible compared to the potential savings that can be obtained. The cost of a zone-regulation switchboard is slightly higher, depending on the number of circuits that need to be controlled. The cost of a digital chronothermostat is about €80.

Piping insulation

In general, the required investment is small and is largely repaid by the resulting energy savings. The cost of a 30mm chilled mold is about €3.8 per linear metre.
