Heating, flue gas cleaning and cooling at a hotel complex
An energy efficient heating and cooling system has been installed in the Sandhamn hotel and restaurant complex situated on the Stockholm archipelago. The hotel and restaurant, with a total area of 4.700 m2 have a combined system of heating, flue gas cleaning and cooling called the Renergi-system. The system based, on a heat pump, is unique in combining energy recovery with high efficiency of flue gas cleaning together with air conditioning of the locker rooms, gymnasium and conference rooms. With energy savings of more than 30%, the payback period is under four years.
