Energy use in buildings accounts for around half of total energy consumption in Europe and is the biggest single contributor to greenhouse gas emissions. Much of this could be saved by the general use of existing best practices and efficient technologies. This website has been designed by the Energy Training for European Buildings project to help owners, occupiers and managers of buildings improve energy efficiency.
