Energy use in buildings accounts for around half of total energy consumption in Europe and is the biggest single contributor to greenhouse gas emissions. Much of this could be saved by the general use of existing best practices and efficient technologies.

This website has been designed by the Energy Training for European Buildings project to help owners, occupiers and managers of buildings improve energy efficiency.

It provides information, guidance and training on:

  • EU energy legislation and funding

  • Energy conservation

  • Renewable energy

  • Energy monitoring and control

  • Stakeholder dialogue in energy management

The project has tested the materials with real buildings in each of the project countries and has trained trainers and consultants to use them effectively.
